Quilter's Quarters, was founded in October of the year two thousand three, to fill a gap in the quilting world.
Wallie & Debbie met each other at a boutique workshop in 2003. Our love of quilting had us chatting and it was discovered that we both wanted to open a shop! After lots of talking and with quite a bit of nerves, Quilter's Quarters was born!
Wallie traveled the world and has been quilting for close to thirty years and has a degree in Art & Textiles. Wallie became a Batik artist, a weaver, then a quilter! She is quite accomplished and is always willing to share and help people with their projects.
Debbie made wearables for many years and starting quilting in the late 70's. She is very helpful and creative when helping people select fabrics and projects. Her other talents lie in the business side of the shop.
We welcome you to our shop with ice tea and fresh cookies (Wallie's husband bakes them for us!!) and look forward to a visit from you in the future!!
Not in the picture is our awesome, wonderful, bookeeper and in-house designer Judy Dohrman! She is a certified CPA. She "figures it all out" and helps keep us on a budget!.
