Happy Holidays!We've had Thanksgiving, Black Friday, & Cyber Monday!!! I hope everyone enjoyed as much as they possibly could! I've had turkey and ham and ham and turkey for way too many days now! The busy holiday season is in full swing, and sewing is being scrunched in between parties, cooking, shopping, and decorating. May you all finish those special holiday gifts...I know I'm hoping to get mine done for 'this' Christmas! Quilter's Quarters is decorating too for the coming year's new look, if you haven't been in lately when you do come by, you'll notice lots of changes going on. There are plans in the works for several 'new' classes, some fun with jelly roll races, and ofcourse a couple of new strip club quilts. Block of the Month, there's a fun and whimsical applique this year 'My Whimsical Garden' from Becky Goldsmith, and 'A Constellation of Stars' which is a paper pieced BOM...from a brand new book by, Claire Oehler & Nancy Mirman. I've always wanted to do a paper pieced BOM, myself, and I will teach a couple of paper piecing classes along with this one as the blocks progress! Party on the Block, you 'will' want to come to this party, what a dynamic looking quilt! A Half-Square Triangle exchange--fabric selection is to be announced soon! Save the date: Dec. 6th Tue, from 1p-5p! Bernina Educator Jeanette Allen, is teaching Machine Embroidery 101. Dec. 9th & 10th, Year end sidewalk sale! Both days will be full of bargains, and dollar fat quarters, even some grab bags! January 16th, Ruler Revolution with Patty Nethery Feb. 17th(day) & 21st(eve) 1st Strip club reveal March 21-24th is the Greater Houston Shop Hop TBA - trip to LaGrange, to the Texas Quilt Museum Thank you all for a wonderful year!
