Welcome to Quilter's Quarters New Website!As you can see there is a new website in town!!! With the beginning of a new year, I hope you'll visit often and notice the additions as the site becomes more functional. This month kicks off our monthly meeting of Embroidery Club! Juni Jodzio is serving up fabulous tea, scones, and lemon curd today for those lucky beginners on the adventure of "Afternoon Tea" from Black Cat Creations! Join in each month to participate, and/or work on your special embroidery project! Next Tuesday Jan 19, the scissor man will be here to sharpen up those tools and make our cutting sew much more pleasant. At only $4 a pair it is a great bargain. Can't make it in on that day? no problem, just drop them off and pick them up later when your schedule allows! Save the dates! Greater Houston Shop Hop 2010/AKA - "Magic Quilt Ride" is coming up in March! get all the details at www.houstonshophop.com. Take off for a fun quilt ride to 20 of the best quilt shops around. You will have four days to let your hair down and have some fun! March 19, 20 and March 26, 27...times are 9am-6pm each day. If you happen to take a ride to Brenham, Feb 5th or 6th, you'll enjoy the Heritage Pieces Quilt Show put on by The Friendship Quilt Guild.
